These are all sized for newborns. I’m hoping to get new colors and new sizes up soon!
I love Pinterest! These are some of my favorite pins of the past week or so.
Etsy has unleashed my creativity. Suddenly I have an outlet for all of the ideas I’ve had and they just won’t stop coming. I think it’s my new obsession.
I started with hair bows, and that turned to a few hair pins. I’ve since added many more to the shop, including these
I’ve started making my own clay beads now, and this necklace is the result
I can’t wait to see what’s next!
Between ravelry and pinterest, I could spend the rest of my life crafting.
Owl hats are my newest thing. This is my favorite pattern. These are my owl hats:
Because I’m crocheting for babies, I’m not really comfortable sewing buttons on for the eyes like the pattern shows, so I made a variation:
with black, make a magic circle, 10 dc, change colors, join, ch1.
with accent color (eye color), 2sc in each dc, change colors, join, ch2.
with white, *dc, 2dc* repeat around, join, finish off.
I’ve been trying to recover from illness this past week, but I did get in a trip to the craft store before it hit. I’ve got a fresh stock of new ribbons, plenty of hair clips, (as well as supplies for trying a few new things) and I’ve been taking advantage of resting time to work on inventory for the new year.
I’m looking forward to Valentine’s Day with several cute Valentine bows – both a glittery, sparkly red, and an extremely cute XOXOXO ribbon.
Following that comes St. Paddy’s day – green shamrocks on a white background – just to make sure there’s no pinching!
And then I found some Easter ribbons. Pastels and eggs!
Those along with some bright spring and summery bows will be coming to the shop soon so check back often. 🙂
(also, this 6-bow Christmas Collection is currently half off! 6 bows for $2.50)
I hope you’ve all had a good holiday season!
